A Medieval Banquet

Homeschool Group learning hosted a Medieval Banquet on Saturday night.

Group learning meets weekly on Wednesday afternoons. Each term, we have a topic or theme...and, obviously, this term's theme was Medieval Times.

The group tries to bring each theme to a closure with a family celebration or outing , at the end of the term.

Here we are, and here is a friend, "dressed up" for the banquet.

Prayer of Consecration of St. Maximilian Kolbe

O Immaculata, Queen of Heaven and earth, refuge of sinners and our most loving Mother, God has willed to entrust the entire order of mercy to thee. I, N___, a repentant sinner, cast myself at thy feet humbly imploring thee to take me with all that I am and have, wholly to thyself as thy possession and property.
